'Twas outside...a bit too much reality for me. Let's just say that in 2003, bathrooms in China were challenging. In Beijing, they even had a starring system so people knew where they stood before entering.
I consider myself lucky to be a stay at home parent, which has given me the opportunity to learn about the world of my kids, MetaBoy (3 years) and MetaGirl (14 months). When I have a rare spare moment, I do things that interest me, thereby helping me feel normal and happy. As an accountant in my professional life, money and all related topics are a source of interest. Food has become a huge source of interest as I've become diligent in keeping my family's health a top priority, what with food recalls, shady ingredients in processed foods, and trying to go organic when possible. I love trying out new recipes, as long as they're delicious, not too fussy, and healthy. But hey, I'm interested it lots of things, so you never know when I'll go off on a tangent...like here :-)
